Are you having a difficult time balancing school and work. Here are 7 jobs that might work in your favor.

 

1.Tutoring.
This is a great way to make cash because it pays well by the hour and the hours aren’t always long, if ever. Nothing is better than knowing that your job is easy, manageable and profitable, granted you’re efficient at what you’re tutoring and the student is willing to learn.

2.Working at the Library.
The general idea is that it’s boring working in a library but this can be to your advantage because it allows you to be in an environment that will enable you to study with ease. Besides, it’s not like you’ll be the only one there that’s working. Many times because the positions at a library are inter-related you’ll end up becoming acquainted with almost everyone who works there, so you might not be bored for too long. Also, the hours are flexible and correlate with your school schedule so it will less likely interfere with your personal life.

3.Become a party promoter.
This is a great option for the extroverted party lovers who know how to draw a crowd with a flyer and a word of mouth. Though you are getting paid to have fun, it can definitely be a major distraction from your schooling so it’s always important to know how to balance the two. A part from that, it is a fun, interactive and simply based on good marketing plus popularity.

4.Working on Campus.
This can be one of the most flexible and beneficial jobs you can have while attending college. You’ll less likely have to worry about being late since your job should just be a building a way and you may just even get time to study for exams. Also, you can get discounts from your tuition and the hours aren’t as dreadful as working in a fast food restaurant.

5.Start a blog.
Having a blog is the new “in thing”, so creating one that will interest a wide range of people will be a great way to generate trafficking which can later lead to a “myspace” knockoff if you’re lucky. The best part about this job is that you can do it at home on your own time and you work for yourself. It also won’t be as demanding so you can even have another job as well.

6.Babysitting
This can be a good job if the kids aren’t reincarnates from hell. You’ll basically get paid to eat food, watch T.V, do some occasional pre-school work and maybe even get time to do your own work. Once you’ve worked out the hours it really shouldn’t interfere with your personal life, especially if weekends are a guaranteed for you.

7.Getting a job in your major.
What’s so great about getting a job like this? You might just get hired as soon as you graduate and you get experience which is always critical in determining your suitability for a job once you’ve graduated. It might not be as flexible, but if you like your major this job can be a dream come through.
