Eek-A-Mouse Released on $17,000 Bail For Rape Charges

Veteran Raggae Artist, Eek-a-mouse was released from jail on bail for $17,000 after being accused of rape and possession of cocaine in North Carolina.

Mouse had performed in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina on Friday where he was seen in the presence of the same woman said to be raped. The rape allegations of a caucasian woman surfaced on Saturday which led to a raid of the reggae artist’s room. The woman was found along with a small amounts of cocaine. Eek-a-mouse was immediately taken into custody where he was charged for kidnapping , rape and possesion of narcotics and held in the Dare County Detention Center.

The initial bail posted for the artist was $50,000 but was reduced once legal council discovered that the female said to be raped is also a police informant.
